The Rock Creek Summer Fly Box is hand-curated specifically for the conditions, hatches, and trout behavior you'll encounter on the Rock Creek from June through August. Summer is Rock Creek's finest season. The caddis hatches are legendary — some of the best in all of western Montana — and wild cutthroat and rainbow trout rise freely throughout the day.

This box is built around the Rock Creek's summer hatch calendar — caddis, PMDs, golden stoneflies, and grasshoppers. Every fly was chosen with dry fly fishing with caddis and attractor patterns in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.

What's in the box:

36 flies total — 18 unique patterns, 2 of each — covering elk hair caddis, PMD dries, golden stone patterns, and hopper imitations. No filler. No patterns that don't belong on this river in this season.

Pro tip from the water: Rock Creek's caddis hatch in June and July is something every Montana angler should experience. Fish size 14-16 elk hair caddis in the riffles and prepare for consistent surface action all day long.
