The Upper Madison River Fall Fly Box is hand-curated specifically for the conditions, hatches, and trout behavior you'll encounter on the Upper Madison from September through November. Fall on the Upper Madison means big brown trout pushing out of Hebgen Lake and moving through the river system. This is prime streamer season, with aggressive fish actively hunting in the classic riffle-pool water.

This box is built around the Upper Madison's fall hatch calendar — blue-winged olives and late caddis. Every fly was chosen with streamer fishing and BWO dry fly fishing in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.
