Fall on Soda Butte is among the most scenic fishing in all of Yellowstone — golden aspens line the banks, elk are bugling in the hills above, and willing Cutthroat are still rising to BWOs on overcast afternoons.

This box is built around Soda Butte's fall hatch calendar — BWOs, Fall Caddis, and late-season hoppers into early September. Every fly was chosen with afternoon BWO dry fly fishing and targeting the slower tailout water behind boulders where bigger fish stage in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.
